If you play Training Mode, nothing is stored about you. The game runs from a signed token held in your browser's memory; there is no cookie and no account.
If you sign in to play the daily board, we store your email address, an automatically assigned display name, your timezone, and a record of the boards you have played.
One cookie, set only after you sign in, which keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary and cannot be turned off while signed in. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers anywhere in this game.
Used to send you a sign-in code, and to recognise you when you come back. It is never displayed to other players — shared games show your assigned display name only — and it is never sold or shared.
A share link is public: anyone holding it can see that game's result and your display name. You choose, when creating it, whether the actual words are revealed. Links can be changed later, and doing so takes effect for everyone.
